VWS started in 2017 with no employees and a $100,000 investment.

The competition was comprised of 10-15 mom and pop shops in Austin, one to two regional competitors, and one national competitor.

Through a focus on "crazy customer service", relational selling, and how-to scale knowledge, the company grew to be the largest regional player in central Texas in only three years.

The work was hard, but uncomplicated. Bringing five-star talent to the industry was a game changer. The competition’s founders were hard workers, but had trouble scaling.

In this case, VWS knew that their largest competitor was very acquisitive and pursued a pure growth strategy, resulting in a very successful exit.
